Well, going from memory I think I grounded the lights to the trunk brace that the filler neck goes through, and then just used a test light to find out wich wire was stop/turn and tail. Two wires at each light, but the drivers side tail just loops over to the passenger side.

Do your LED have 2 hots and a ground?

hey coupe. i read your write up on the led tail light conversion. i don't know if im just dumb, but for some reason i can't figure out the wiring. i can get tail light and no brake or signal, or i get tail light that is max brightness. is there a special way to wire up these lights. i also have a 65 and just seem to be stumped. any help is appriciated.. thanks..
