I got my GT bumper at a swap meet in Columbus Ohio. It was pure chance that it was the right color already, so I got it all said and done for 150. it was a great deal lol

You asked what I used for my headlight tint. I used vinyl overlays from rvinyl.com. Works great. Dark smoke color. But it will make your lights pretty dim. I need the fogs to see at night.

I Bought them Thru "Late Model Resteration," I Thinkk they were about 600.
Check their web site. There 9 1/2" So you need new tires if you still running stock.

Yea, definitely wait for bumper before striping! I hear ya, I've been buying parts for my car since a month after I got it out of the lot almost 4 years ago. Depending on job outlook, I may just go to grad school after I get my degree which would mean another 2 years with this car, so I'm not stopping with mods until I know for sure what my next car will look like (perhaps a 2014 GT? haha). Good luck with painting the chin and don't go to MAACO. I made that mistake once; they just don't know how to do much of anything over there.

You can do it yourself, especially if you're mechanically inclined. I ended up taking mine into the shop because I decided not to buy the mid pipes and knew that the shop has done many exhausts before mine and they wouldn't charge much to bend a few feet of pipe.

Regarding the chin, I suppose there's a possibility that it would come in black; however, when I ordered mine from American Muscle mine came in a light, crappy grey. It was no big deal though, I swung by wal-mart, bought a can of outdoor multi-purpose flat black paint (make sure it specifically says "plastics" under its list of uses), and just sprayed 3 even coats top, front, and bottom. It works just fine and I think if not a perfect match to the rockers, it's pretty damn close haha.

Man, I would love the gt/cs rear bumper, but when I just couldn't bring myself to pay 400-500 bucks for a bumper. Now I've got stripes, making that option even more expensive. I shoulda checked out ebay while I could've.

"breathe too much"? Is he saying that the dual exhaust with/without headers would have an adverse reaction with the necessary back pressure coming out of your collectors? Or is he afraid that it'll mess with the air/fuel ratio exiting the block (I could not be more sarcastic here haha)? Believe me, done wrong these 6's can sound bad (and sometimes ricey) when corners are cut or they decide to run without catalytic converters.

Price was an issue for me as well back in high school when I was on a busser's budget and had a girlfriend, but you better believe I saved up because I knew what I wanted! Between car parts and the long gone ex, that's where all my money was dumped haha.

Thanks for the compliment, the pony package can be made to look great, the only reason why I didn't get it was because of the additional cost.

Are you going to paint the chin? It should come in a light grey, so it won't match your rockers. Are you going to paint to match the rockers or paint to match the body?

Hey, for the signature I currently have up, I took a normal shot with my nikon d5000 then played a bit on photobucket, and had a friend from the forums darken the edges and make my headlights appear as if they were on.
