    Hey tx65,

I know youve been asked this before, probably a bunch of times, but I was wondering if you could scrounge up some info on your paint color. I read that its Caspian Blue, but do you remember the brand of paint you used? Sometimes colors of the same name can vary by brand, so I was just hoping you wouldnt mind giving me a bit more info. The puerto rican blue paint on my 65 is killing me!

    Thanks

Hi Thanks for the advice on the window. I saw your pic of the caspian blue on your ride. Do you have a paint number for that?

The wife really wanted me to paint ours red, but when she saw the pic of yours she was like if you can do that blue you can paint it blue.

    Thanks
    Ryan

Thanks Man. Its the smaller 2 inch one. I think the 2 inches is the size of the display. I got it from JCW. It measures just under 3 inches to the outside of the chrome bezel. I mouned it with a hose clamp that is wrapped in black heat shrink to avoid scratching the steering column and it makes it almost invisible. I also put a green piece of clear plastic inside it so the illumination is closer to the gauges instead of just being white.

I really like the tachometer you have chosen to use in your 65 from Make Waves Instruments. Can you tell me which size or model number you used? I check the web site and they have 3 1/2" and 2". I think the chrome bezel make it slightly bigger. I want to order one but, didn't know which one you had in your 65. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Walt

good morning. I am doing a serpentine swap into the tribute Mustang for my brother. It is a 65 289 with driverside reverse flow waterpump inlet. I had the radiator shop swap the outlet of the radiator to the drivers side to match up with the water pump better. After reading your posts on https://mustangforums.com/forum/clas...tor-hoses.html I purchased a 70 lower hose and it did not fit. The water pump side was too small. The hose needed to be 1.75 on each end but it was 1.75 on one and 1.5 on the other. Any help would be appreciated.
