Hey, I just came across your project and that's one heck of a project you both executed congrats.

I am starting a project ( https://mustangforums.com/forum/clas...ml#post8659609 ) and I would love to have your opinion and expert advise on all matters, If you don't mind.

Appreciate if you can help guiding me with the project.

Awesome build. Looks amazing. I been trying to find the right color of pepper grey as well. Dupont to light, PPG to dark. I think you hit the nail on the head with the prospray. Could you give me the paint mix that prospray mixed for you? I know you mentioned prospray 44490, but the actual mix or a pic of the mix label on the can if you have it would be awesome. just absolutely love the color and thanks for your help.

I am looking for help with putting on full quarter panels on a 67 Fastback. The problem is getting the new panel under the existing roof sheet metal as was originally done, anyone ever do this?

No etch primer. Just clean bare metal with 80 grit sand scratches, two coats waiting 30 minutes between each coat, 1:1 is the mix ratio.

I saw that post with the mustang in black and red spi epoxy w/UV. That is the finished look that I am looking for. Not for my mustang, I have a 67 cutlass convertible. What was the process to achieve this? Blocking, etching primer, how many coats, flashing, special mix? Would you have done anything different?

Thanks!! We have started to think about the other one, but we're still not sure what we're going to do. We're thinking either 68 gt500 replica or put it back to stock.

Awesome build thread! What are you planning on doing with the other 68 fastback?
