Saw your comment "Why solder when you can use splices and a crimper? Not sure if its a good idea or not but i normally splice wires together with the same stuff delta uses in their planes (my dad brings some home) and it takes seconds to make a connection." Back from Sept 09. My dad has been working on planes since before I was born(1968) and I have used the same connectors with the special crimp tool. I say, if it is good enough for airplanes, then its good enough for my 'stang. But since I don't live at home anymore and dad is now in management and closer to retirement, I don't get them anymore and they sure are pricey other places.
