Default Softening up the ride?

Ok, since I put the 18" rims and the Sumimotos on my car, the ride has REALLY gotten stiff. I can feel every single bump in the rode and it's a bit uncomfortable. Can someone tell me the best way to soften things up a bit? My *** will thank you...

Less air in your tires.

Wait, that's for mtb'ing.

You're down to springs, shocks/struts. Visit the handling section and read up, everything you will want to know about lowering your car and fixing your ride is found there. Of course it's going to cost some $$...so it's either that or going back to stock wheels/tires.

Lower pressure in the tires, go with a softer tire (like an all season), or go back to 17". The 17" were smoother because there is more tire to cushion the ride. The things you do to improve the handling will stiffen the ride. Lowering springs, etc., will make the ride even stiffer.

Can I have yours?

One thought I just had was that it was colder out when I bought the wheels, so I wonder if they're over-inflated now. I'll need to go check a little later.

Not sure I get it?

But anyways check your tire pressure, I noticed more roughness then usual when my tires were at 35 or so.
