Default Chris Harris Pits the Mustang GT 500 Against the Camaro ZL 1

Most of the time we get a video from Harris, he's flogging some uber-expensive European sports cars, so I was pumped to get his take on some of our native sheetmetal. Check out the video to find out which car comes out on top.

It's a great video. I think it does justice to both cars.

I agree. Chris Harris is pretty balanced and fair.

I find the camaro so freaking ugly! It could have 10,000hp and I'd never own one. That front grille and all the sharp angles, yuck! The next generation is bound to look better.

I was thinking the same thing! It's one button, it's electric for Christ's sake.

LMAO...I was wondering why he didn't lower it, and wasn't sure if adjustment was different than my Mustang.

With the seat all the way down, you still sit higher than the camaro. You DEFINATELY sit lower in the camaro. This might not be ideal on the track, but on the roads I find the increased visibility an asset.

I like mustangs for that reason.. not sedated, a little on edge.. able to scare you. That keeps it fun for me. When im like 60 or so.. that's when ill go luxury, maybe an M3. I can't see perspective M3-type owners opting for a Camaro instead of a "proper" euro performance car.

I particularly enjoyed the comment on the Mustang's power where he said it's not some tuner nonsense, this comes with a warranty!
