Taking Car to Dealer. CAI+Gears - Remove Tune ?
I am taking my car to the dealership on monday for a regular check up.
I have a Steeda CAI + 4.10 Gears on my 2011 v6 auto.
Is it ok if I tune it back to stock for driving ~20 miles round trip ?
Or Should I be worried about the gears/CAI and tune it on his parking lot ?

Why are you even worried about it? It's a regular check-up, not a failure of anything. Of course, if you're easily intimidated by a dealership that pulls stupid **** like that, then you need to return to stock including the airbox. But be sure to bring an extra pair of panties in case you soil yours when the dealership says "boo".
I've had warranty work at 2 dealerships with my CAI & tune and they never said a negative thing. On the contrary; I had 2 techs comment on how well the car ran and they felt it was a good tune.
You need to add another choice: Who gives a flying f**k WHAT the dealer thinks?

dealers really don't care about it unless there is an engine failure that they can blame the tune/mods on. other than that, most do not mind. just make sure you are friends with the techs/service writers, not a *****.

No sweat. We do this often because we can be a bunch of confrontational retards (myself MAJORLY included) but we mean well. The issue of whether a tune voids a warranty and if you should return to stock (like a wuss, IMO) is an old, old argument which often gets heated discussions going; almost as heated as the auto vs. manual discussion. But what good is having an opinion if EVERYONE shares that opinion? Boring....
