Blowby in my 07 GT? Help!

Blowby in my 07 GT? Help!
Hey Guys,
Last month my car suddenly overheated in traffic at night. I parked immediately called the tow truck and brought it to my mechanic. He checked everything and said it was a failure from my cooling fan that he fixed i drove her home again. The day after she overheated again. I purchased a new ford racing cooling fan.
Today i got a call from him saying that it had a blowby and that my heads and headgasket were damaged. Also that he doesn't know yet what the damage is to the pistons etc. The car only overheated twice!
My car only has 15400miles on her. My modifications are few. Beneath are some pictures.
There are no ford specialists or dealerships here.
Any opinions on what might have caused this and what the damage might be would be appreciated.

I will be sure to add an catch can during the repair process.
I've never driven the car without the appropriate tune. Everytime i added another mod, i had the new tune a week before the parts were installed so i could upload it as soon as they were on.
They were email tunes

Was the thermostat replaced? That the first thing I would look at in any overheating situation. I'd certainly get that replaced and try it out before replacing the head gaskets and heads.
Overheating can warp the heads if you just drive it rather than stop and deal with it once you notice it, so his diagnosis is within reason, but if he didn't do anything with the thermostat either time, then I would question his competence.

He said the thermostat was fine the first time, we're replacing it either way just to be safe. He also said that the radiator needs to get some kind of service?
Where can i purchase stock cylinder heads?
I only come across upgrades. I think it's going to cost to much for me to send them back to the states to have them rebuilt. I want to keep the downtime minimum.
