REAL 1970 Chevelle SS 454 For Sale! **UPDATED PICS ON PAGE 2**
Alright guys, here it is. I didn't think I'd see the day when the old man would part with this car...But alas, It has to go, and to a good home with a car freak.
It's a Numbers Matching 1970 SS 454 360 hp. The car is Fathom Blue, and it's the original color for the car. Let me just start off with the paint job. It's unbelievable. There is over $10,000 just in the paint on this car. The car was restored in 1997 and has not been in inclement weather since. The wheels that are on it, may or may not go with it. The original wheels are included with the sale of the car. Here is what makes it rare. It's a 4-speed, bench seat, air, and no stripes. In '70 the SS package could be ordered with the stripe delete and with that, you got no hood pins, or cowl induction. It looks just as you see here. (Except the paint wasn't as nice from the factory) There is some chrome trim that is supposed to be around the wheel wells, it does come with the car, but it clashed with the polished 18" Enkei's, so it was removed. This car is turn key and go. It's all there and needs nothing. It's a very nice driver, but I wouldn't want to leave it in a parking lot somewhere. The only thing on this car that’s not supposed to be there is the power steering. It was added at the time of restoration because the car was built to drive, but anyone that doesn't have the build sheet in their hand wouldn't know it's not supposed to be there. It also has a hidden digital AM/FM 6 Disc Changer with remote. It's neatly installed and the factory 8 track is still in place.
Believe me, I could list pages of details on this car...Those of you guys that know what this car is know what its worth. So if you clearly can't afford it, please don't bust my ***** about it. If you're seriously interested, let me know and we'll talk.
You'll see some spots on the car, it's just water. When I was taking the pictures, it started to drizzle. Thats why I didn't get a whole lot of them. It was put away right away. The pictures do not do the color on this car justice. It was overcast that day. In the sunlight, this car really shines and everybody and their brother stops to look at it. You'll see the first time you fill it up at the gas station!
