I just took my car for a quick drive make sure everytihng was was good for spring and theres smoking coming out from the dipstick tube. Just as a pulled into the drive way the check engine light came on so i lifted the hood and the line going from the rad to the coolaqnt tank had blown off. so i put that back on and the check engine light didnt come back on. ive put in a new dipstick tube since the last time i drove it and i had a temporary plug in the dipstick tube to drive it from where it was stored to my house. is the a coating or anything that smokes on new dipsticks or could it be from the plug i had in there, or im a looking at a bigger problem?
if it helps any ive put on headers,maf and injectors, udp and tb since the last time its really been drove for any distance.
Any ideas?

You will get some smoke out of the crankcase. That is normal. It is just oil that has disipated into the air. You PCV system works with it.

how long would that last for, cause it sems like alot of smoke

I guess that depends on what your think alot is. All engines I have seen do it all the time when it starts to get warm.
