Hey all, fairly new to the forums, bought a 91 a couple weeks back, with a swapped carb engine in it. No idea however what it is exactly, with a bit of research and what not I came up with it being a 302 from an 85' however I could be wrong, I just replaced the valve cover gaskets and it leaks worse then before. Any input would be highly appreciated. Don't mind all the misplaced wires, and other things. The whole bay is a mess.

Make sure gasket surfaces are clean and free of old gasket material. Also check covers themselves for dents or gouges. And don't overtighten.
