3.7L V-6 and track days
Over the winter, I've been building my 2013 V-6 Performance Pack's suspension for autocross. I would also like to try at least one track day event this year. Has anyone else done this on a stock drivetrain? How much of a hindrance is the 118mph speed limiter? Replacing the driveshaft and raising the speed limiter are not in my immediate plans.
My local tracks are Lime Rock, NHMS, and Thompson Speedway in CT (once they reopen their road course in 2014). Would the speed limiter cause a problem on the NHMS and Thompson banking?

I have been to Road America with mine both with the oe limiter and driveshaft and without the limiter and with an aftermarket driveshaft
I would slam the limiter and be passed by droves of cars and that wasn't much fun, Even some of the turns I would be on the limiter upon exit and sit there, so it was well worth removing for me, the next visit was far more enjoyable.
I guess it depends mostly on the track and what speeds you are running.
