I just don't see him getting 300 with those heads or that intake, if they were ported he would probably be there

I don't know which part of Italy you are but Gas there is similar or better than here.
The Standard one should be 95-96 octane (US 93 Ron) and it should be easy to find the 98+

I'm in CA now and the maximum I have is 91 Ron with 10% of Ethanol.

(By the way, if you are near Rome, let me know, I can give you some tips to find good specialists in US cars)

I also plan on adding towing after the stroker so it will have deep dish pistons like18 or more so I can crank em
I should've read your post first, I didn't see the gas comment. Technically, you could still build a bigger stroker (347, 363) and keep compression down with the right piston and cylinder head choice. Just requires a little homework. My 393 was at 9.7 before I had my stuff milled.

I'm not trying to throw a wrench in your thinking, but the 331 never made sense to me unless you're adding boost and needed to beef up the bottom end.

The heads are the best flowing cast heads and the victor intake is a boss lol, I think 300 should be an easy task. Eventually some AFR or tfs, or victor Jr heads

Ya there is nothing wrong with those heads or intake but I just don't see you breaking 300 with them, god luck though

My SBF 352 stroker runs 91 Shell right from the pump, vic jr heads and just over 10.5 comp.
I've gone as quick as 10.82 in 4300' density air @126mph.
Dunno what you are worried about.....
