Early 8 inch 3rd member (center carrier). Has the horizontal ribs only (not waffled). Hard to find Ford "equa-loc" unit.
Unit is in VGC. Already cleaned in & out. Outside is painted w/ red oxide 2 part Dupont epoxy. Bearings are in great condition.
Comes with NEW 5 tab clutch fibers and steels. These will need to be installed and gear depth re-checked.
Factory gears, 2.80 ratio. Have the correct tag to go with it. Numbers on tag are: WDJ-B, 2L80 4JA 913. Numbers on unit itself are: C20W 4025F, 4H22
This unit would be great for someone that is restoring a Mustang or any early Ford that has an 8 inch rearend housing or doing a mild build-up and wants to get rid of the one wheel peel.
