Never done it before.

From what I've gathered: take the boot off, use a ratchet to take them out 1 at a time. Use the gap tool, put some stuff around the plug. Then put it back in, then put some stuff in the boot and connect it? Tighten it til it stops, and make sure the engine is cool.

Am I good to go?

I didn't put any "stuff" in the boot and it seems to be working just fine. I have Iridium plugs in mine. Just make sure you get the proper gap. The biggest problem you will have is getting to the plugs. I have an 02 v6 and the biggest problem was getting to them i removed the whole stock intake all the way up to the throttle body and still had problems getting to them. So thats it... you can do it yourself but accessing them and getting the wrench down there might be hard if your car is like mine but im sure you'll manage. Good luck.

they are easy as hell to change. the hardest one is the drivers side rear (#6)

if your car has less than 70,000 miles then don't even bother changing the stockers. they are good for 80,000 miles

if you replace the plugs get coppers

Autolite 605's
Delco R44LTS6
Champion RS12YC

any of the three above will give excellent results but will need changed after 40,000 miles

i reccomend the Delcos but that's just me

Yes very easy, it's just a matter of getting in the right spot with the right tools and leverage to get them out. Gap is the gap between the metal arch and the copper/platinum, or irdium head. I think they have to be gapped at .56mm, look under the hood, it has a sticker that tells you what to gap them to. You'll have to go to an autoparts store to get a gapping tool, and get them to show you how to do it, not hard, just precise.

gap the coppers at .045"

if you get Plats gap at .056"

do not gap Iridiums. if you want iridiums Denso IT-20's are fine and good for nitrous too

do not under any circumstances get Bosch Platinums either single electrode or +2's or +4's they are junk. the center electrode erodes away quickly and you are left with a pinhole in the ceramic where the platinum is suposed to be

what about ngk iridiums, are they good plugs? ive heard that are really good. I dont plan one any no2 any time soon. Im prob gonna build all motor(powerpack and internals) then when the money comes a s/c or turbo. No2 will prob be the last thing i add so im just looking a good plug

I've heard they're good, just stay away from platinums, heard nothing about bad things about them from just about all the local shops.
