Can airbags from a 97 Mustang be compatiable with a 94 Mustang?

Hello! I have a 94 Mustang GT which I recently went off roading with... The airbags deployed and I am now looking to buy new ones... I found that brand new airbags cost $1200 but I can find what I need on ebay for $550 or so... I was wondering if airbags from a 97 Mustang with fit, including the plugs... Also, if the plugs are not the same, how would I go about changing them... Thanks!

Please, if anyone has any kind of idea or thought, please post... I am looking at aribags on ebay and the one that I want to bid on is ending in four hours and I would rather not waste my time/money for something that isnt gonna work or be a pain to make work... Thanks!

They may be incompatable,as Air Bag technology changed over the years.Be careful to follow instructions.You already know they go off with a bang...I agree, ford will know.

haha, no... Thats what my dad says when he tells people... I was coming home from work late one night... I was dead tired and driving a little fast down a back road... Then, a deer popped out of nowhere... I slammed on the brakes and the car completely locked up, causing me to not slow down and I skidded into a dirt embankment...
