Default Air Fuel Ratio Gauge

Has anyone ever put an air to fuel ratio gauge in their car? If so i know you need to hook it up to the o2 sensors ,but how do you do it. Do you have to connect it to both o2 sensors?

Just wire your possitive and negative wires and splice into the black wire on the O2 sensor

I'm having the same question. I think I've tapped into the wrong wire. The black wire that you speak of for tapping into, that is on the O2 side of the pigtail, correct?

Oh, my car is an 87 GT.

no one has bothered to mention that a narrow band o2 gauge is worth absolutly nothing and will not give you any information other then the o2s are working or not. you cant use it for tuning or checking to make sure the car is running correctly because th guage is constantly jumping around. its a glorified light show

I was just about to mention that. Chances are, if you aren't sure how to hook it up, then you didn't know that you will want to get a wideband sensor. It's pricey, but the gauge isnt really worth it without the wideband sensor.

Then again, I don't see a need for the gauge unless there are some major engine mods.
