RE: 2005-2007 Mustang GT 3V Coil Packs & Coil-on-Plug Connectors
I was running the GMS COPs and connectors for a few months. They had two strong points: They added about 20 HP to my S/C 4.6 and they completely eliminate spark blow-out on high boost applications.
So they are a good product for S/C cars. I think the results in n/a cars would not be as good.
Bad feature of them is I had two of them burn out last summer. While they were replaced under warranty, the reliability factor is a question now in my mind, so I have stock COPs on again. When I go to the track in April I will try them again to see if they make a difference in my ET.

The repacement coils are ONLY beneficial if you have forced induction and you are having problems with blowout due to high boost. On an N/A motor or FI with low boost they are useless.
Like Zkiller said, the GMS coils are not very good quality, and you always have to worry about them burning out.
Another option is the MSD coils. They are now available for the 4.6 COP. However, they are a very new product so I don't know any real-world feedback on them yet, but I would imagine they work like the GMS coils (only useful on FI), only I would expect them to last a lot longer.
Ozan, I realize this isn't what you asked about, but what stands out the most on your mod list is that you need a set of longtube headers to let those cams work to their highest potential. If you are looking for a mod to do, either longtubes or a 1-pc lightweight driveshaft is would be an excellent choice for your car.

I bought just the coil on connectors and felt a little difference. Dealing with Fords for a long time now and it tells me that Ford vehicles are picky when it comes to the electrical side. I would never change out the COP's themselves unless it's another set of Ford OEM COPs.
