guys supercharge them all the time...they tune them to around 390rwhp which is a safe tune for your internals...your probly going to make the same amount of h/p no mater what supercharger you pick. by the way nice times!

i like procharger. all three are good superchargers. with a procharger you do not have to tap your oil pan, and they offer a nice 3 core intercooler which is not like the water to air like vortec has. but that is just my opinion. kenne bell is expensive and over rated IMO. everyone says ahhhhh kenne bell!!! because they see all the KB cobra videos online.

i have a vortech and quite a few other people on this forum also. now most have their opinions on which is the best. ima break it down for you. the KB is a great blower. makes good power, but unless you have the suspension and tires to support you gonna basically spin all day long. a vortech, procharger, or paxton are great DD blowers that are very similar to turbos. we call em centrifugal blowers. with my vortech i didnt lose any gas mileage on the highway, and about 2 mpg in the city when out of boost, when in boost it gets into the single digits. i paid just a bit over 4000 for my entire Vortech kit, which included everything from the powerpipe, fuel pump, spark plugs etc. and that also included installation, good luck getting that done with a new KB. IMO your better off with a centri blower, any will do, and just go with what your wallet will provide.
and by the way your rods and pistons begin to fail at around 450rwhp depending on your motor, but i have seen many 2vs go over that on the stock bottom end and have no problems. just beware that when you get close to the 450rwhp mark something could fail

I prefer the instant torque and waaaaaaaaaaaay cleaner lookof a KB myself. The banshee wail at full boost is the icing on the cake. Centri's sound like *** to me, almost like a idler with a toasted bearing.

ooh but KB puts out sick numbers, but youll definitely need more than just that blower to go fast, youll need a buitl suspension and sticky tires. i break my tires loose in 2nd and 3rd, and mines not instant. i can only imagine the KB boost. theyre both great both ill take a centri
