I just replaced my heater core and btw it was not fun at all as most of you prolly know...but i need to connect the heater hoses to the firewall now but i dont know which hoses go to the water pump or intake can anyone help? and also i have a flow restictor im going to put in so what hose is the inlet hose so i know which hose to put it in? thanks

I cant remember on a 302 but on my 351 both hoses go to the water pump. Doesn't matter which. One is flow and the other is return.

ok but if one is flow and other return then would the inlet hose be the one coming from the water pump? so would i put the flow restrictor in that hose? thats wat i was thinking.

The hose only fit one way because there both different sizes.
The restrictor goes in the inlet hose and fits right next to the ends of the heater core pipe.
