Default Rear valance question

I need to mount the rear valance on my 68 coupe. When I bought the car, the previous owner had spot welded the old (still usable) panel to the car and used a whole lotta bondo to get rid of the seam and his bugly welds. How do rear valance panels mount to the quarterpanels? I am assuming they bolt on, but this panel I have has no bolts or anything else attached.
Thanks!

BA,
Thanks, that answers my question. One other question, do you just drill holes in the wraparound section of the quarterpanel for the valance screws to go through?

I think the screws go on top of the valance under the bumper. I'm going home from vacation tomorrow and can try and get some pics of it if you want.

Take a look at the package of screws that make up the mounting kit. You will see two long threaded studs with a flat piece of metal attached to one end. These are the bolts that attach the outside bottom of the valance to the lower quarter panel. Your valance panel should have some funny looking brackets on the outboard, underside edge that these flat pieces of metal slip into leaving the long stud sticking up. These long studs will fit into a hole in the bottom of your quarter panel and allow you to hold the valance panel tight against the lower quarter panel. If this does not make sense I can get you some pics tomorrow, my car is all apart and it will be easy.

BA, I see how the panel fits on to the back. Yours looks good (I am painting my car red too)
Cruzzar, my panel doesnt have the brackets on it. When the former owner tacked the panel to the car, I assume he ground them off (judging by the grind marks on the inside of the panel) Do the studs float in the bracket, or are they fixed to them somehow. Also, I assume I need to drill holes in the bottom wraparound section of the quarterpanels to mount the valance?.? If you could shoot a pic of that it would be much appreciated
Thanks!

Here are some pics, I hope this will help you make a mount for the studs. The last pic is of the bottom of the quarter panel and it shows where the stud should go thru and be securred with a nut from inside the trunk area.
