Default American Muscle

saw American Muscle sponsors this, figured a good spot to ask a question-

do you guys have a specific list of the American made products you carry? these days the old "Buy American" seems to be making a comeback- except its becoming more and more difficult to find domestic stuff to buy...any info appreciated- would suggest a 'sticky' at the top of the thread listing all the red-white-and blue stuff to choose from- think it could be a good marketing gimmick, I wish all Vendors would start doing this- not just on Mustang stuff either, just try to find a tool/toy/whatever thats still made here

theres a lot of choices out there, but more often than not you cant tell where it comes from till you recieve it- I think the old Buy American thing will be getting louder daily with the way our jobs situation has gone- vendors giving us more info would be great- and nothing sells more proudly than a ad with 'Made In USA'

thanks,
Tim

He guys this is my first comment ever. ford4v429 I agree with you. Im set to start my modding this summer and I would prefer to buy American. I think it would be pretty neat if AM put a "Made in USA" tag next to the add to cart button.

I look forward to hear what other have to say about this, it would be pretty cool if we could get AM to do this for us!

Good idea Tim! I buy American every chance I get. AM should do this.

Unfortunately, we don't maintain a list of vendors that manufacture their parts in the US. I definitely pass your recommendation about indicating which vendors make their parts in the US on the website, though. Thanks for the feedback and the recommendation, it's always great to hear from the people who are actually using our website on a regular basis.

3 years and a day later... 23 pages of stuff by 'made in USA' search on the AM site- nice...lot of stuff (Mishimoto) I wouldnt have guessed was American- still think a 'american made' products tab would be a good idea, might get a few of us impulse buyers over the edge

question on exedy clutches- are those made here? thought they were... I need to do mine before summer

I know LuK clutch is here in Ohio, they gotta be making parts for some of the aftermarket brands...hear they are good quality.

another suggestion- maybe a 'made in USA sale' type of thing someday- maybe a good marketing thing for the 4th of july or something
