What are the operating temps for it? Like at cold and at hot on the gauge? I ask because I just had to change out my temperature sensor for the gauge and now it's reading funny. Before, checking with a code reader at 217*F, it was nearly pegging the H, like on the a of Normal, which never seemed right to me since the T-stat fully opens at 212*F. Now, with it changed 220*F is reading dead center of Normal.

Which one is right? Also, keep in mind that I am running a Teksid block with B heads.

mine runs at 213*f touching the M, once it gets middle way on the M i flip the fan on cause im scared of overheating it.

On MOST engines, normal is 220*F. Dodge's 5.2L and 5.9L, Chevy's 5.0 and 5.7L and Cadillac's Northstar are all 220*F for the norm. On my 98 Seville, the fans didn't even kick on till 235*F. On this one though, I am not sure.
