Default 2v, 4v, 3v interchangable parts?

Okay, I have been looking at different sites and parts to get an idea of what options I can actually throw together. I found a Block that says it is a direct replacement for 2v,3v, and 4v motors. Is the 2005-10' engine really the same engine as the 2v? The reason I ask is because I'm trying to figure out if the plenum and fuel rail covers would work on a 2v engine. It would make sense that the heads would be different and so would the bolt pattern for the intake manifold. Does anyone really know for sure that i can't put a 3v intake on a 2v car?

I would like to know too surley someone knows. I found a brand new compete short block for a 05-10 for $1600 and would like to know if I could put that block in my 96 gt with the pi heads and intake as a direct swap?
