Default throttle body gasket leaking

So the gasket for my throttle body adapter was had a small leak so i replaced it again got all the bolts nice and tight and started it up and still leaking. Anyone have ideas of wtf i can do? Im to the point of just wanting to put some silicone around the leaks...

take it back off and check it with a straight edge, make sure you clean it down to metal before you put a new gasket on.

I think the gasket has a top and bottom check with both mating surfaces.
