What type of oil to use on 99' Cobra
I was wondering what is the best type of oil for my 1999 Cobra. It has 140,000 miles and is a daily driver. Should I use different oil different times of the year? I also have a slight leak from my valve cover gasket (havent had time to replace yet) so I was thinking maybe a thickier oil. Also I usually use the motor craft OEM filter. Any input is appreciated. Thanks
P.S. I live in North Carolina, (for tempature ranges)

I wouldn't say synthetic is a better oil, it just lasts longer, it boils down to if you want to change your oil every 3 or 5000 miles. If you can do 2 oil changes with a dino oil for the price of 1 synthetic you might as well go with a dino oil.

what im gonna do from now on is just use the RP oil filter and keep going with the mobil 1...royal purples filters are top of the line i did some research on it and compared them to mobils and they really are the best IMO....im just the kind of person that wants to put the best i can in my car even if it is sorta unneeded....i still havent doin RP oil though i cant bring myself to paying that much lol
