Default Automatic Clutch Adjustment?

My quadrant seems to be in good shape, pulled up on the pedal, pushed down to the floor to adjust, clutch adjust, but when the pedal is all the way out, it makes a god awful rattle/squeak. The TOB is brand new. The local transmission shop looked at it, tried to adjust it, and never had any luck. He said what's happening is, the fork is touching the flywheel, and once the grease wears that he applied, it starts making the noise again. The clutch, new bearing only have 900 miles on them. He suggested that I get a firewall adjuster and get rid of the automatic adjuster. MM has the kit for $130. The shop owner said he has had quite a few new edge mustangs in with the same problem.

Is there a TSB for this issue? Any suggestions on what kit to buy?

Any fix for this?? I am having the same issue, new clutch, throw out bearing and pilot bearing and when the clutch pedal is released it makes the same noise. If I touch the pedal just slightly it goes away.

The problem was fixed for me by putting in a manual firewall adjuster. Cost me around $150 labor and all. The kit my guy ordered had a new cable, quadrant, and the firewall adjuster. If you do get this done (Which I would highly recommend, as the transmission shop said the rubbing caused my premature T.O.B. failure) then expect to have about 200 miles where the clutch is INSANELY hard to press in. Lol. I promise, it breaks in soon enough.
