Does the 2011 V6 have a speed governor?

I will be changing it soon, either 3.55 or 3.73.
I have more plans; exhaust, CAI system, tune and suspension mods.
Thanks for all the input.

I xUOTE=heroic_bacon;7559571]is removing the limiter legal? what if you gotta go in for inspection?[/QUOTE]
It's not illegal to do it, the only problem comes if you have it under warranty and take it into the shop. They can tell when they hook it up to the computer, which will void the warranty. ...unless you turn the governor back on before you take it in then problem solved

I would be careful when removing the governor. If you do, I wouldn't personally go past 125. The driveshaft isnt meant to handle that kind of speed, hence the reason they put the governor on. There's a video of someone on YouTube that hit 130 I believe and he blew the driveshaft. I would just suggest that you replace the driveshaft with a stronger one if you want to hit higher speed like that.

I just found a few of those videos on youtube... Yikes! Yeah, definitely looks like you'd want to upgrade the driveshaft before giving in to any need for speed moments on a nice empty stretch in Mexico...
