Default Edelbrock vicot junoir intake EFI-WOW 2002 gt

Just had the Edelbrock JR intake EFI put in and it woke the car up a ton. Just wanted to let you know it works. Part throttle was the biggest suprise, just flows so much better. Car pulling from 3000 to 6400(my cut off) effortlessly. Keep in mind I had to change the fuel rails and I went w/ the 6061 plenum. Theres a adaptor for the fuel sensor and some very minor fuel lines changes. But nothing crazy. I went to mustang alley the past weekend and didnt see anyone w/ it on?? This must be somewhat new . I DONT THINK A STOCKER WOULD BENIFET ALLOT, BUT ANY CAMMED/HEAD/SUPERCHARGED, MILD MODDED STANG WILL SEE A BENIFET. iLL DOWNLOAD PICS WHEN i GET A SEC.

I noticed a huge different as well, the car doesnt stop pulling. I completely agree though that if running n/a or not on a built motor or blown dont waste your money...just go with the PI. I also run the 6061 plenum and its definitely a sick setup

I would love to get a intake. But with intakes and a 6061 plenum do you need a new tune?

I would imagine you would benefit most from a tune in the a/f department, given you have a new air flow scheme... but I doubt its required.

I dont think you would HAVE to get a tune, would it benefit you? Sure
Keep in mind you'll need different rails as well, as well as no EGR if you didnt already delete it

I just realized i know the OP from the MOCSEM club. It's Scott right? IIRC, you have the stock heads and cams correct? So how much power did you gain?

I have a procharger running about 9.5 lbs of boost. CRazy thing is I lost alittle boost-good. Better flowing intake/ The 6061 is killer plenum. IM running about -22 vacum-really good. The car in part throttle is allot faster and Id say safely I pu 30 hp plus.. My stang is pulling from 3000rpm to 6400rpm, they say 4000-6000 is where the power is coming. I need to probabley do some minor tunning for my benifet, but I talked to CRT performance and they said due to Livernios already having the fuel/trims tuned right for my SC, it really wasnt nessary. NOt only does it look badass, but did everything it said. It honestly doent feel like I lost anythiong down low. If I did, it;s not noticable. When I go to the track/dyno Ill update. Yes, I know you MRT. Im from TOledo Mustangs and hang w/ MOESCOM when I get a chance. Premier auto in Toledo put in and did if for a very reasonable price. Most of my egr is gone now, Premier did a good job cleaning it up. CHeck my pics out.
