I have a 2011 mustang convertible basic. I found out after purchasing it that it does not have the ability to have the headlights turn on and off automatically . Can anyone tell me if that can be added or direct me to a link to show how it is done. First can it be added withouth much cost and if it can what would be the approximate cost. tks.

thank u so much. do u know how easy this is to put in. how do i get the old switch off and put new one on. are there any directions for changing out switch with the part.

It's about that simple.

You need to pop the trim around the switch loose and there is one screw under there somewhere, Then you can pull it out to unplug the wire harness, release the little tabs around the switch to remove it from the trim and just reverse to install the new switch.
