Your math is wrong. If you are 300% shy you need 300%. 300% of 5k is 15k and add that to the original 5k and it comes out to 20k. If your gonna try and sound smart putting up percentagrs then at least do them right. You make yourself sound stupid. you clearly can't read or create a simple mathematical word problem. I would suggest taking a class on that ajd a statistics class so you can learn how to deal with percentages.
