Biiig problem
So I have been fixing up my mustang and replacing filters and such. Just kinda trying to help it. Sunday I cleaned the throttle body I have done this on 3 other fords and the results were great. So I did it to mine. No big deal. I removed it, cleaned it. Ready to go. Started right up the next morning but not after hearing a loud clicking sound from the TB area. The rpm surged to 3000 on start up. Cold start. Then by the time it was warmed up I was idling at 1000-1250. I thought it was just super clean and due to the race tune. So I have been driving around like this. The speeds holds longer and the revs hold a long Time too. So wednsday night I decide to remove neg battery cable to see if maybe it'll help smooth out the problem. Unhooked for almost 1 hour. Hooked it back up and I'm now throwing a failsafe engine code. Car starts. Idles from 500-750. Accelerator pedal does nothing, zip, nada. So I uninstalled my tune and reinstalled. Nothing. It's showing a throttle actuator code. Idk wat that is. So we r thinkn possibly tps. Plz plz help.

TPS maybe, or the loud clicking you heard was the plastic gears in the throttle motor stripping teeth. When you were cleaning, did you disassemble anything? Or force the throttle blades open? See if the blades spring back when you push them open. If they don't, maybe the spring inside the motor is messed up.

Did you try the idle reset procedure in your owners manual?
It's goes something like this:
Disconnect battery for about 5 minutes when car is cold.
Once battery is reconnected, start car and let it idle 20 minutes.
Turn AC on max for at least a minute.
Drive the car 10-20 miles. Worked for me after cleaning my TB.
