Transmission Swap Question
Has one ever done the C4 to a TKO-600 or AOD swap on a 390FE Motor.
I am putting a 390FE into my 70 mustang and would like to go with the 6-speed on it. I was looking at these kits but was wondering if anyone has ever used this kit or any kit at all. If so, how was the fit, finish. Anymore modifications to the transmission tunnel. Was the drive angle alright.
I know with the AOD the torque kills them but It will be built to handle the power.

well i wouldnt run an AOD id run a 4r70w over it...does the auto have a removable bell housing? if not youre gonna need some type of adapter plate.
ive never used a tko 600 it is not a 6speed though...the t56 is usually the swap for 6 speeds and id run a viper spec since it has a .5:1 final gear ratio so it cuts any rear gear you run in half...it will definitely take trans tunnel mods
