Its not really an actual cruise but more like an informal car show.

Yeah, I guess it's more of a cruise destination.

That word usage has always bugged me a bit too. A "cruise" in my mind should be behind the wheel going somewhere, not hanging out in a parking lot socializing (not that those events aren't fun too).

Unfortunately "cruise" for stationary events has been in use since the 1950's, so I don't suspect that'll be changing anytime soon.

Some organizers refer to the stationary events as a cruise-in, I sorta wish that usage would become a bit more standard.

On a similar note. The Mass Cruisers bi weekly cruises at Patriot Place Bass Pro start today and every other week until October. I will be there setting up "Mustang Alley" with some other MCCNE members.

Wish I could have made it Rachel, would have been worth it just to see your new Boss. When did you swap the hood to the 302S? (just noticed it in your pic and sig)

Yeah it's too bad you could not make it. Really good turn out, you would never know it was the first one of the season, I would guess maybe 1500 cars!

I actually bought the car with the Tiger hood (I have the original one also)

That's darn impressive for the first event...yikes...

Well, getting the hood already on the car certainly simplifies things
