Ok so I did what murgatory suggested and lifted one corner like I would for changing a tire, that allowed me to slide my jack under to the red circled area of the K member. I jacked it up with a piece of 2x6 to have a flush surface. Then I placed jack stands at the hard mounts on the ends of the k member to keep the front end up. Hopefully this will help future new s197 owners figure out where the best jacking points are and how to troubleshoot with a lowered mustang. Thanks guys for your help.
