1968 GT/CS California Special Mustang
this is a very rare car it's an 1 year only car, this is a 1 of 3,867 GT/CS that were made 1968 only all gauges and lights seem to work right even shifter light
I have a real 1968 GT/CS california special mustang with Marti Report, clean title pink slip in my name i'm may be the second owner, it was painted a few years ago its a nice driver quality paint job with a few chips here and their, i was going to have it buffed out before i put the GT/CS decals on it, the interior is newly redone all new seats covers dash pad headliner carpet and door panels this is a very nice driver but could be a show car with a nice paint job, the car has an sony cd player with custom kick panel speaker and 6x9 in the rear, 5" tach light that can be removed if wanted
the car comes with:
new stripe kit,
side markers lights and bracket,
new emblems california special and mustang new in pack,
brand new in the box rocker moldings from mustang unlimited,
and other odds and ends,
did not install because i wanted to get the car color sanded and buffed, or new owner might want to paint car back org color
**PARTS NEEDED*****
rear window regulators should be replaced,
Grille is nice but not perfect it has small split at top only seen when you open the hood
needs door mirror(forgot to order new one)
needs new hood chrome molding(forgot to order it)
the fog lights need to be wire/plugged in( factor plugs from car harness are their and factory switch inside car is their, lamps are missing end plugs) only have one lense,and one blub
door jam switch(for dome light) for got to order them
needs a rear view mirror(couldn't find it)
car had an flex fan on it i removed it to go to electric fan but didn't order it, car will come with flex fan not installed(new owner might want to go with more oem fan)
i would buy new weather stripping kit,
passenger header gasket has a leak was going to fix it before i took car to exhaust shop for full exhaust didn't get around to it(new owner might want to run exhaust manifolds)
it has an temporary exhaust on it now just to brake in and hear the motor, i wanted to have exhaust ran all the way to the back
this GT/CS came form the factory with a 289 2v so its an factory v8 car power disc brakes rear drum car
Rust free california car solid frame rails and body clean floors and trunk, this is a real nice driver built to keep up with modern cars
