Default will the seat belt dinger go off when.....

I just bought a set of Corbeau seats and belts and belt bar for my 05 GT and I was wondering if my seatbelt bell will go off after unplugging the factory harness below each seat? If it does is there a way to disarm that system and has anyone else done this to their car? I also got a rear seat delete kit also. Going for that race look! I took all the factory stuff out tonight so all the cool stuff will be going in bright and early in the morning.

I know there is a process to turn off the dinger. There was thread on here about little known things like the throttle calibration and things like that. If you search you should find it.

the disable worked fine for me. Pretty sure they alarm will go off with different seats still so you would need to disable it like instructed above

Thanks for the info. I installed everything today and will start it tomorrow and see what happens. Love the look and fit of the seats and the overall look of the set up. No back seat and a cross bar in the back give it the true race look. I am such a kid sometimes.

No seat belt alarm but the airbag/seatbelt light did come on and stay on. I can live with it at least for now. I would post a couple pics but system says I cannot post attachments for some reason.

Maybe your post count not allowing you to upload pictures.... As far as the airbag light I want to say I read online that you can wire it up a certain way to get it to turn off.

I kind of figured I was lacking in the total posts count. I do more reading than I do posting but I will say I like the way it came out. Big difference in fit and feel of the seats and with no back seat it gives the car a 2 seater feel. Plus it just looks cool.
