Default 2005 GT Center Console Power Outlet

Hey guys,

I did some searching on the forum to find that quite a few people have had this issue, but I am still unclear about fixing this:

The power outlet in my center console is not sending power to any of my devices. I checked fuses 61 and 64, both were good but I replaced 64 for good measure..

I assume my next step is removing the console to access the harness, but I'm definitely not looking to take my entire interior apart for this. Is there a way to take the console out without removing my stick shift/dashboard?

Thank you

Shouldn't have to remove anything from the dash...

Updates: I opened up the console to find that the outlet was simply unplugged. I bought the car used so I assume this happened either before the dealer took it or while they put my alarm in (?)

Anyway, I also found another plug that leads nowhere. I was able to see this one through the slot for my e-brake but never though anything of it. I'll get some pictures up of it.

Is your car a manual transmission? If so that plug that goes nowhere is probably for the automatic. It is cheaper for Ford to have one common wiring harness and just not use that plug.
