My current suspension project. Would appreciate comments
Hello.
I finally ordered my setup (found a take off on a forum):
- Koni STR T Struts & shocks
- Eibach Pro Springs
- GT500 Mounts
- LCAs
- LCAs relocation bracket
- Adjustable panhard bar
should I order an adjustable upper control arm ? there's plenty of different bushings:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/mustan...arms-1112.html
I have a local buddy who is selling his UPR pro series
is that worth getting these at a discount or should I pay more to get a street version from a shop ?
or maybe a UCA is not needed for my setup...
my car is a daily driver, so I care about the ride quality (as you can see the choice for the pro springs)
any comments appreciated !

That looks good to me. Don't cheap out. I've seen multiple examples of cheap aftermarket parts failing, sometimes catastrophically. It's better to save up a little bit longer to get what you really need than to buy it all now just to have something new and shiny.

^^These parts are Made in America, they carry a Lifetime Guarantee, and they work really well.

I have the Koni's and highly recommend them, I had the FRPP ones before and they were too harsh for my liking.
Depending on you driving style and budget you may want to look at a watts link. I have read some good reviews of the whiteline version.

Be careful with lower control arms and your PHB. I bought a PHB with spherical bushings, and it let a lot of rear end noise travel into the car. Same will happen with control arms. If it is purely a street car, I would keep stock LCA's, and just get an adjustable upper control arm so you can keep your pinion angle set properly. Something else to consider (based on my personal experience) is lower control arm relocation brackets. I get much better traction after installing them then I had when I initially lowered the car.

@ UPRShahad:
I appreciate it, but I was only considering adding an upper control arm because a member of my club was selling his at a good deal.
I have now 2 members sellings theirs, one UPR pro series, one UPR street series, both adjustable.
I am really tempted to take the street series, but reading from people's comments in this thread, it looks like an overkill for my suspension setup.
bummer, for the only time that I find a good deal I actually don't need the part
I wish people were saying I need to replace my stock UCA
alright, time to hunt for decklid panel, driveshaft, convertible style bar.
