Default TB port & Polish

Hey Guys...I just had my GT500 TB port & polished by Stiegemeier...he did a great job...before and after pics...should flow a lot better!

Does that really make much difference on a GT500? It's already getting air forced into the intake. Just curious.

The less restriction in the air intake side to the blower, the more efficient the blower can run and with a bit less temp.

It's not a huge difference on a stock blower, maybe 7-8 hp.... 10 at the absolute most. Once the blower is upgraded though, the stock TB is a pretty big restriction. Then it can be worth 20-25 hp.

Running a hair over 14 lbs on the gauge before...looks like I gained about .5 lbs...Steve's thoughts are correct...let the tweeking continue LOL...have a polished plenum in place also...
