Default closed course airport run.

A couple of weeks ago our club was invited to show our cars at an air show in Longmont Colorado. I have 2videos from that run. My car is 2nd to last in the video. A 2011 V6 automatic. It was approximately 1/2 mile. I hit 108mph recorded by a radar gun. I am posting this with my phone so I hope the videos work.

What's the altitude there? Looks like a blast, I would love to do something like that.

Surely your car did better than 108 in the 1/2 mile? Neat day out for sure though.

Altitude should be right around a mile. Wish I could have gone. Looks like great fun.

OP being in Colorado is most likely running over a mile above sea level.

Nice videos.

First of all, yes we were a mile high. The 1/2 mile was just an estimate. The 2010 Shelby that ran just before me hit 135mph. The 65 that ran first did 99. That was the last time I ran that car. The weekend before I took 2nd place in show-n-shine at the Rocky Mountain Muatang Roundup in Steamboat Springs. 2 days later the drivers side was backed into in a parking lot. I now have a 2013 5.0 black convertible.

I also ran autocross in Steamboat Springs. Here is a video of that. I didn't do that great. Not though power or talent, well maybe I had enough power.

Here is the damage.
