Not sure on sound, but the mid mufflers are probably a little better sounding. Less drone and i know that they improved the mid mufflers after reviews from the true duals. Also, you get what you pay for. From what i recall the mid mufflers are about a buck more, i would go for the mids

Pypes is good bang for you buck but their stuff lasts a few years and rusts out. They are also a pain in the *** to fit just lots of fitting issues. But hey you get what you pay for cheaper made parts you put more labor into getting them on the car.

I'd go for the mid mufflers as well, but like Doc said, I can tell you firsthand their fitment leaves a lot to be desired.

Depends on what you are looking for, I bought the Pypes X-Pipe, left GT over the axle pipe and ran GT mufflers, not real loud but you knew it was coming when you got on it.

Borla Touring Exhaust does not sound to bad or even the Borla Stingers sound great on a V6.
