There's a turbo kit for 05 v6 mustangs on Ebay for $900-ish. Do you guys think this would be a wise investment? You can probably understand my skepticism because turbo kits are normally $4,000+.

Its brand new and seems so have all the parts. I just dont want to waste $900 on a piece of crap turbo that would go bad and seriously mess up my car.

I have no knowledge if it's good or bad, but can offer advice..........There is a reason it's so cheap in price. Sub par quality? These items "the good ones" are anywhere from $3500-$5500. There is a reason they are priced high. They are proven items, made to last. I do not own one but if I were to get one I would save my cash and get a name brand proven product.

At that price point it can't be a complete kit. More than likely it is a universal kit where you get a cheap turbo and a pile of piping. You will then need to figure out the proper injectors for the set up, get it tuned, probably have to build your own hot side.......
