Default Fog lamps not working after bulb change

Need some help because I'm a little stumped here.

I recently bought some yellow 55W H10 bulbs for my fog lamps just for a little different look.

I pulled the original bulbs today, put in the new ones, turned on the fog lights to test them out and they won't come on (all the other lights work).

So, I checked the fuse, it is not blown.

Swapped the original bulbs back in and they still don't turn on.

WTF?

Yeah, that's weird. Did you check the fuse(s)? Have you checked the sockets for power with a VOM?

Isn't the fog an H11 or 9145, depending on GT or Pony?

Was the Key on? Only reason I asked was a friend did the same thing and I went over to help diagnose it and told him to turn the key on and all worked.

Ahh...well, the key was not on. I will try that.

BTW they are H10/9145 bulbs...I did check that.

How do you like the yellow? I love mine. I like the yellow bulbs better so I can still have the clear lenses when they're off.

I run Hella Optilux Extreme XY lamps in my fogs; 2500k. In dark, snowy or wet or foggy weather they're a major improvement over the stock ~3500k lamps and anything higher in Kelvin.

I have Hoen Endurance yellow bulbs in my '06 GT fogs. I like them. work better in fog, snow or even rain.

Couldn't tell ya...car is residing in the garage right now! I did turn them on, they actually weren't quite as yellow as I expected, but I know the yellow will be more useful if I use them as actual fog lights. Plus, like I said I wanted a little different look.
