Default DTE FLI Data Error

I have looked all over this forum for help and non really apply to my problem. I was installing heated seats in my 2007 last weekend and after reconnecting the battery keep getting the DTE FLI error. I have had no problems will fuel or anything until this happened. Checked all fuses and relays, everything is OK. Any ideas short of taking it to the dealership?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes?

Yes, more than once, it was also disconnected during the entire process of installing the heated seats as well.

Check Fuse #19 in the SJB (Smart Junction Box - passenger side kick panel). Ford uses a slow blow fuse so it might look like it is ok but may not be if you look real closely. Change the fuse anyway and see what happens. Please update us one way or the other.

Does the car start and run? If not, your fuel pump safety switch could be tripped.

I really was hoping that Fuse #19 was the problem, however, the fuse tested good and I did replace it but still have all the same problems.

Yes, the car runs. Still have the DTE FLI error code, convertible top will not go up, Oil and fuel gauge doesn't work as well as the instruments lights for the airbag and traction control stay on.

I drove the car about 15 miles yesterday and it never reset.

Any other ideas before I take this car to the dealership?

Any chance I can reset this code with a OBD2 scanner or does disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery do about the same thing?

Did you loosen any harness ground bolts when you installed the heated seats?
