Default Do T-Top cars have beefier bodies? Should I add subframe connectors?

I've heard that convertibles have a strengthened body since they don't have the extra support of the roof for stiffness.

Do the T-top foxes get this same treatment? It would make sense if they do.

Also, if I end up getting this '87 GT, would it be a good idea to add subframe connectors to helps support it some more?

Thanks!
