There is a big difference between the stock all season Pirelli's.. and the summer only Pirelli's that come with the brembo/track pack.. BIG difference. Please specify which ones you have.

15-20 is normal for the summer only tires. They are not rated for temps below, i think.. 60 degrees F. They are only really good at 80 and above.

The stock all-season tires should last much longer.

I've got 21K on mine (all season) so far and they are about done, I'll try to squeeze a few thousand more miles, but I spin them quite often... it's really hard NOT to

I figure mine are going to be good for about 35,000 or so.

I have 23k on my summer only tires and they are all but done. prob 3-4 mm left and they are useless hooking up anywhere. I am stupid loose in warm temps until 60 mph at WOT. I only open it up a few times a week. Going to a 285 tire next.

I replaced mine around 25k. The fronts were fine but the rears were pretty much bald.

I had 34,900 on my tires. Just the other day, immediately after exiting the Interstate, the front right tire exploded and blew out. Rather harrowing experience--given that I was just cruising upward of 70 MPH a few minutes before. Most of the sidewall was shredded. Tires were 7 years and original to the car. I've been waiting for the day to replace the tires since I got the car, as I will be up-sizing the wheels to 18's. As far as tires, I debated between reinstalling the P Zeros or Michelin Pilot AS/3s. I've decided to go with the Pilots this time.

On 3rd set of tires, 80k out of the Pirellis, 60k 1st set of pzeros, have 30k on current set of pzeros and they look like they have a half-life left. And yes, I am old and don't drive as I used to...lol..Just turned 172k on an 06 GT and car still runs like a top.

On cooler days I'm not real impressed with the traction of the Pirelli's either. I get a little buggy on fast corners and worry about slide.

I'll likely go with Michelin's when I'm ready for new shoes.

I noticed some new cracking or "checking" in the rubber at the bottoms of the tread grooves on the date coded 3107 Perelli P-Zero Neros that were OEM on our '08 Mustang GT. We got the car last June, tires were easily 1/2 still there at 22,000 miles, but they had no cracks then. Since then, they've worn some and developed cracks in all 4. No more Perelli P-Zero Nero s for me.

Now it has 26,446 miles, and I don't want to risk damage to a rim (not scared of a flat, I've had a few and some at "extralegal" speeds) so Friday, I got her up on stands and pulled the wheels and loaded them in my PU along with 4 GoodYear Eagle RS-A tires I had set aside and carried them all to a buddies and we swapped them and balanced them and all is well again.

These are tires I know I can trust.
