94 mustang cobra

ok kool. I just have to check later. I did put the bbk header back on but when i did have it off i tried looking for that carbon spot but couldnt see anything. Actually to tell you the truth i think just under the #7 port i could see what looked like burn or carbon on the head, i figured that was probably where my leak was. I wonder if a shop can re-surface the header?

OK.kool. But iv never had this problem before with other bbk headers iv had on all my other stangs., why would these give me such hassle? Iv always used mr gasket's and never had a problem.

Similar to the aluminum gaskets I was referring to. They are soft and thicker than standard gaskets. I went through two sets of cheap header gaskets and they always ended up leading after a few months. Once I installed the aluminum ones they sealed for good and never had a problem the rest of the time I had the car.

Don't F around over a couple of dollars. Percy's = win. I buy from summit since their support is legendary and unwavering.
I'd also toss the BBKs in the trash can, but that's a different rant for another time.

I kinda do want to get rid of them! What would you recommend? Nothing too expensive!! oh and carb legal if possible.., no biggie but would save me the swap every 2 years!
